This week Roque and Luke celebrate a new arrival with a rather more unknown but nonetheless important wine region. Southern Spain’s DO Montilla-Moriles. They get stuck into a sensually sweet bottle of Tierra de Oro Pedro Ximénez and discuss what it means to be Spanish, as well as diving into the strange processes behind this region so deserving of our time.
Meeeeeerry Christmas to one an all! It’s that most festive time of the year again. To celebrate Navidad, Roque and Luke opt for a pair of sweet little numbers. A complex Pedro Ximenez from the Alvear winery in Montilla-Moriles, Festival, and a luscious Moscatel from Castillo de Maetierra from Vinos de la Tierra Valles de Sadacia, Melante. As well as getting plonkered, intense debates are had about who has the better Christmas!
